Eyeglass World in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking an Optical Specialist to deliver confident service and ensure every step from pre-exam support to eyewear readiness feels seamless and on-brand.

You will assist with eyewear selection, final fitting, and quality checks, while guiding customers and supporting store operations. Prior experience in optical or retail is valued, with strong communication. Sundays off are offered at some locations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ year experience in optical, retail, sales, or customer service required.
• Bilingual abilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create an exceptional customer experience with warm, personalized service at every stage of the visit.
• Guide customers through eyewear selection, final fitting, and product education to ensure confidence in their purchase.
• Support store flow by assisting with patient movement, pre-exam screens, and smooth transitions between steps.
