Job summary

Visionworks is seeking a Sr. Optical Specialist-Lead/Sales Lead to be the face of our brand in store locations. You’ll guide customers through the Visionworks experience, ensuring eyewear needs are met in a simple, human and bold way.

Prior optical experience or ABO certification is required; licensing per state guidelines may apply. In this role, you’ll meet daily sales goals, engage with patients, recommend products, and continuously update eyewear knowledge through training.

Qualifications

12 months optical experience required or ABO Certification in lieu of experience.
HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience.
Maintain Optician License requirements per state guidelines, as needed (Licensed)

Responsibilities

Deliver daily sales goals by ensuring the best Customer/Patient Experience journey.
Engage with patients/customers and recommend products and services that meet their eye care needs.
Measure patients/customers for eyewear and ensure proper fit and knowledge through training.
Perform store operations to support financial and customer experience goals, including opening/closing as needed within LEAD positions.
