Job Title: Senior Optical Specialist - Lead/Sales Lead

Whether it's a friendly voice over the phone or a welcoming smile when a patient walks into your store, you will be the heart of our brand.

Pay Class: Full Time

Pay: $11.86 - $16.01 per hour

The Role:

A Visionworks Senior Optical Specialist - Lead/Sales Lead is the face of our business, dedicated to ensuring the best possible experience for every patient and customer. This role requires training and knowledge about optics, our products and services, and managed vision care. The Senior Optical Specialist guides patients/customers through their eyewear journey, ensuring their needs are met in a simple, human, and bold way. Candidates should have at least 12 months of optical industry experience.

The Senior Optical Specialist maintains necessary licenses per state guidelines and dispenses eyewear where required and licensed.

  • Achieves daily sales goals by delivering excellent customer/patient experiences
  • Engages with patients/customers and recommends products/services that meet their eye care needs
  • Measures patients/customers for eyewear and maintains product/optical knowledge through continuous training to ensure eyewear is Right the First Time
  • Supports store operations, including opening and closing the store in Lead positions
Qualifications:
  • At least 12 months of optical experience or ABO Certification in lieu of experience
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Maintain Optician License requirements per state guidelines, as needed
