Pay Class: Part Time

Pay: $11.86 - 16.01

The Role
A Visionworks Sr. Optical Specialist-Lead/Sales Lead is the face of our business and dedicated to ensuring the best experience for every patient and customer. This person is trained and knowledgeable about optics, products/services, and managed vision care. The Sr. OS guides patients/customers through the Visionworks experience, ensuring their eyewear needs are met in a simple, human, and bold way. A Senior Optical Specialist has 12 months prior optical industry experience.
The SR. OS maintains license requirements per state guidelines and dispenses eyewear where licensed.

  • Delivers daily sales goals by ensuring the best execution of the Customer/Patient Experience journey
  • Engages with patients/customers and recommends products and services that meet their eye care needs
  • Measures patients/customers for their eyewear and maintains product/optical knowledge through continuous training
  • Supports store operations including opening and closing in LEAD positions

Qualifications

  • 12 months optical experience or ABO Certification
  • HS diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Maintain Optician License requirements per state guidelines, if needed
