Eyeglass World, part of National Vision, is seeking a part-time Sales Associate - Optical Specialist in Lexington, KY. This role focuses on delivering friendly service, guiding eyewear selection, and ensuring proper fit and pickup with a polished, on-brand experience.

Requires a High School Diploma, 1+ year in optical/retail or customer service, and strong multitasking and communication skills. Availability Mondays, Fridays, and Saturdays is needed; Sundays off.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (Required).
• 1+ year experience in optical, retail, sales, or customer service (Required).
• Strong multitasking, time management and organizational skills (Required).
• Clear communication and the ability to educate customers effectively (Required).
• Ability to prioritize customer satisfaction at every interaction (Required).

Responsibilities

• Deliver warm, confident, and personalized service at every stage of the visit.
• Guide customers through eyewear selection, final fitting, and product education.
• Ensure customers leave feeling confident in both their eyewear and their experience.
• Assist with patient flow and pre exam screenings to support Optometrists.
• Perform finishing work including final adjustments, inspections and quality checks.
