Job summary

Eyemart Express, a nationwide optical retailer, is seeking a Part Time Optical Retail Sales Associate in Poland, OH. You will assist patients in selecting eyeglass frames, lenses, and coatings, and ensure accurate measurements for grinding, coating, and fitting.

No prior optical experience is required; training is provided. The role rewards strong customer service, basic math skills, and a friendly, professional demeanor.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Experience in retail, customer service or sales preferred.
• Experience in the optical industry is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to all patients.
• Help patients select eyeglass frames, lenses, and coatings.
• Ensure lab measurements and prescription details are accurate for grinding and fitting.
• Dispense glasses to patients after completion.
• Maintain knowledge of current promotions and policies.
• Handle payments and refunds using the in-house POS system.
• Assist with insurance claim processing as needed.
