Job summary

Shopko Optical in Hales Corners, WI is seeking a full-time Optical Sales Associate to join our team. On-the-job training provided; no experience required. You will help patients select eyewear, dispense lenses, and assist the optometrist with screenings.

Your role includes handling orders, processing billing information, and keeping frame inventory organized while delivering exceptional service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• State license as required by state.
• Shopko OCE Certification per company requirements.
• Office/optical dispensing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer and patient service according to company and Optical Center standards.
• Analyze patient eyewear needs and recommend lenses, coatings and frames.
• Assist patients in selecting frames according to style and measurements.
• Order and dispense eyewear accurately and professionally.
• Assist patients with frame repairs and contact lens care.
• Support optometrist with case histories and screenings.
