Job summary

Shopko Optical in Menasha, WI is seeking a Full-time Optical Sales Associate to join our team. On-the-job training provided, no experience required; you will help customers select eyewear, process orders, and support patient care.

You will assist with frame selection, lens options, and referrals to the optical lab, while maintaining inventory and ensuring accurate billing and promotions. The ideal candidate has strong communication, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work evenings and

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• Maintain license as required by state.
• Shopko OCE Certification requirements and calendar modules.
• Previous experience in an office and/or optical dispensing preferred.
• Able to handle multiple customer interactions/phone calls at a time.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer and patient service according to company and Optical Center standards.
• Analyze patient eyewear needs and recommend lenses, coatings, and frames.
• Assist patients in selecting frames according to style and measurements.
• Order and dispense eyewear accurately and professionally.
• Assist patients with frame repairs and adjustments and contact lens care.
• Assist Optometrist with case histories and screenings.
• Maintain knowledge of third-party plans and claims and explain promotions.
