Job summary

Eyeglass World on Merritt Island is seeking a Part-Time Sales Associate - Optical Specialist to join our in-store team. This customer-facing role brings the brand to life with confident service, attention to detail, and ownership of the final moments that matter most, from pre-exam support to eyewear readiness, fitting, and pickup.

You will guide customers through eyewear selection, ensure comfort and confidence in their choices, and help maintain a polished finish.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (Required).
• 1+ year experience in optical, retail, sales, or customer service (Required).
• Strong multitasking, time management and organizational skills (Required).
• Clear communication and the ability to educate customers effectively (Required).
• Ability to prioritize customer satisfaction at every interaction (Required).
• Support store team in shared goals (Required).

Responsibilities

• Create an Exceptional Customer Experience: Deliver warm, confident, and personalized service at every stage of the visit.
• Support Clinical & In Store Flow: Assist with patient flow and pre exam screenings to support Optometrists; ensure smooth transitions between exam, finish, and pickup moments.
• Own Finish & Quality Excellence: Perform finishing work including final adjustments, inspections and quality checks; ensure eyewear meets Eyeglass World standards.
• Operate with Precision & Care: Support order entry, tracking, and timely completion; maintain organized, clean finish and retail areas.
• Bring the Brand to Life: Model Eyeglass World service standards and uphold brand visuals and store experiences.
