Job summary

Eyetastic Services in West Haven, CT seeks an experienced Optician or Optical Sales Associate to join our physician-owned private practice. You will greet patients, help select eyewear, explain lens options, take measurements for PD and segment height, and ensure a proper fit.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and assist them in selecting eyeglass frames and lenses.
• Provide expert advice on lens options, coatings, and frame styles.
• Take accurate measurements for eyeglasses (PD, segment height, etc.) and ensure a proper fit.
• Process eyewear orders, check in and inspect new glasses, and complete adjustments and repairs.
• Educate patients on eyewear options, lens technologies, and proper care for glasses and contacts.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases and patient information.
• Support daily office functions and keep the optical area clean and organized.
