Job summary

America’s Best, part of National Vision, is seeking a General Manager to lead a dynamic optical store in North Carolina. You’ll supervise daily operations, drive sales, manage budgets, and deliver exceptional patient care.

You’ll recruit and develop staff, partner with the Doctor to ensure high-quality eye care, maintain standards, and create a positive, high-energy environment focused on service and results.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of retail experience, supervisory experience preferred.
• Knowledge of the optical industry is preferred.
• ABO & NCLE Certified is desired.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all daily store operations including staffing, inventory, planning and policy adherence.
• Lead, train, and develop associates through coaching and feedback.
• Monitor performance to deliver outstanding customer and patient experiences.
• Partner with the Doctor to ensure the highest level of patient care.
• Conduct store audits and maintain quality, merchandising and service standards.
• Ensure compliance with policies and accurate associate records.
