Job summary

LensCrafters is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead the store in the absence of the Store Manager and act as a business owner within the Macy’s location. You will drive key performance metrics, develop staff, and ensure exceptional customer service in a fast-paced optical retail setting.

The role requires supervisory experience, strong communication, and the ability to manage schedules, visuals, and store operations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ year(s) of supervisory/management experience in retail.
• Knowledge of retail operations, processes & policies.
• Strong math skills and comfort with cash handling.
• Excellent English communication both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Lead the store in the absence of the Store Manager and support day-to-day operations.
• Drive sales, monitor KPIs (conversion, sales to plan, traffic, productivity).
• Develop and mentor team; provide constructive feedback.
• Execute visual directives and maintain store appearance; ensure policy compliance.
• Support scheduling, admin duties, and weekend/night shifts as needed.
