Job summary

National Vision in Plano, TX is seeking Production Lab Technicians to support multiple departments in the manufacturing of optical products. You will help expedite job orders and ensure timely processing to serve customers.

Duties include observing data on job orders, sorting and organizing, RF scanning, and department-specific tasks in Surface, AR, and Finish. You will operate and assist with coating, mounting, tinting, inspection, and shipping preparation.

Qualifications

• Education not required; entry level allowed.
• Prior mass production, machine operation or assembly experience is preferred.
• Prior optical experience is desirable.
• Must be able to read and write English.

Responsibilities

• Perform department-specific lab production duties across Surface, AR, and Finish.
• Observe job-order data, sort and organize orders, and use RF scanning.
• Operate and maintain equipment such as lens coating, mounting, tinting, and inspection steps.
• Prepare orders for shipping and ensure compliance with quality standards.
