National Vision, a leading optical retailer and manufacturer, is hiring Production Lab Tech | Inventory for FT 3-day shifts with differential pay in Plano, TX. Entry level and experienced candidates welcome; no specific education required.

Strong preference for prior inventory or warehouse experience. You will perform stockroom and lab duties, print orders, de-box lenses, scan and organize items, and support production flow.

Qualifications

• No specific education required.
• Prior order picking, inventory, warehouse or mass production experience preferred.
• Must be able to read and write English.
• Entry level and experienced candidates welcome.

Responsibilities

• Observe data on job orders, sorting and organizing job orders, RF scanning and other department specific tasks.
• Inventory duties include: Printing orders, de-boxing lenses from manufacturers, placing correctly on tray for processing, pre-inspecting lenses for visual imperfections, sending defects back to manufacturer, picking frames and lenses by locating bin number on the Rx, scanning barcodes on trays and frames, organizing job trays, sorting jobs and placing into production, stocking duties, receiving, inventory periodically, returning lenses and frames to inventory for canceled orders, researching order failures, loading new frames in DVI, processing lens breakage.
