Job summary

ASML US, LLC in Wilton, CT seeks a First Line Support Production Engineer to provide rapid response to production disturbances and execute POD steps to sustain output. You will work in a cleanroom environment, diagnosing electro-mechanical issues and supporting diagnostics with MATLAB, Python and LabVIEW.

The role requires reading mechanical, electrical and optical drawings, strong ownership, and effective communication with cross-functional teams. Weekend coverage may be required.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechatronics or related engineering field.
• 2+ years in engineering; MS accepted.
• Solid understanding of manufacturing assemblies.
• Experience with servo/mechatronic control systems.
• Knowledge of multi-disciplinary electro-mechanical assembly.
• Experience with hardware/software testers and vacuum systems.
• Familiar with Unix/Linux, Python, MATLAB.

Responsibilities

• Spends ~75% in the cleanroom supporting production processes and troubleshooting.
• Troubleshoot electro-mechanical modules and subassemblies.
• Troubleshoot module test and final qualification issues.
• Troubleshoot multi-discipline test equipment (Hardware/Software/Electrical/Servo).
• Master test rig qualification software: Linux/Python + ASML GUI.
• Analyze Matlab runs and plot data from database.
• Support data interrogation for manufacturing needs.
• Analyze test data and derive conclusions.
• Evaluate contamination with RGA data and determine acceptance.
• Develop OCAPs, Fishbones and troubleshooting guidelines.
