The Ash Group is seeking a Sales Engineer in Richardson, TX to join our team supporting optical networks for carriers, data centers, and utilities. You will design and validate solutions with sales, lead small to mid-size network design projects, and deliver demonstrations or POCs.

This full-time onsite role offers a competitive salary and opportunities to work with multi-vendor technology. Ideal candidates have 3+ years of relevant experience, strong knowledge of optical networking and L2/L3

Competenze

3+ years of relevant work experience.
Knowledge of optical products and design principles.
Basic understanding of L2/L3 packet network services.
Experience supporting or selling OEM optical/networking products (preferred).
Knowledge of optical fiber principles and network design.

Mansioni

Work with a team in the planning, design, and operation of customer optical networks.
Work with sales teams to design and develop winning and profitable solutions.
Validate customer requests and requirements for network hardware, software, and functionality.
Participate in sales discussions over audio/web conference or in live meetings.
Lead and coordinate small to medium scale network design projects.
Perform demonstrations or POC's over web conference or live meetings.
Win the confidence of colleagues and client prospects as an expert technical resource.
Assist sales in pricing, proposing, and SOW creation.
Interface with other departments regarding product development and implementation.
Provide timely project updates to internal engineering and project managers.
