Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Machining experience preferred.
Optical manufacturing experience a plus.
Able to read blueprints and use metrology tools.
Able to lift 20 pounds and handle delicate parts.

Responsibilities

Operate machines including diamond turning, CNC polishers, grinding, and MRFinishing.
Profile, cut, mill, grind, bevel, block, polish, edge, clean and test optics.
Test components using metrology tools and inspect for quality.
Read blueprints and technical drawings; follow safety and maintenance procedures.
Adapt to training on 1st shift and transition to 2nd/3rd shift.
