Job summary

Transitions Optical, part of EssilorLuxottica, seeks a strategic manufacturing leader to run a 24/7 optical production operation. You will set long-term direction, manage budget and capital plans, and ensure safety, quality, and delivery targets are met.

You will drive continuous improvement, adopt automation and digital tools, and collaborate with HR and external partners to support customer requirements and business growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
• 5–10 years in manufacturing environment.
• Ability to support a 24/7 operation.
• Six Sigma/LEAN familiarity and experience.
• Excellent planning and organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to coach and develop people.
• Customer focused.

Responsibilities

• Leads and directs all manufacturing operations, shaping long-term strategy to support growth.
• Ensures targets for safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
• Monitors operational metrics and reports to leadership.
• Owns financial performance including budgeting and capital planning.
• Ensures ISO 13485, ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 compliance.
• Champions Continuous Improvement, Lean, Six Sigma and a high-performance culture.
• Drives adoption of automation and digital tools for efficiency and quality.
• Partners with HR for talent strategies and workforce planning.
• Maintains consistent policy application across production operations.
• Direct contact with customers and suppliers for quality and productivity.
