Position Overview We are seeking a dynamic Optical Manager to lead operations for our Houston locations. This role is responsible for overseeing daily dispensary functions, driving sales performance, managing a team of optical associates and/or licensed opticians, and ensuring an exceptional patient experience. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with proven experience in retail, healthcare or optical management, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering results.

What You'll Do

Requirements

• Knowledge of frame adjustments and frame repairs
• Experience taking accurate measurements (PD, seg height, optical center)
• Familiarity with optical lab processes and lens types (single vision, bifocal, progressive)
• Experience reading lenses using manual lensometer
• Ability to handle insurance eligibility checks and authorizations
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when filling prescriptions
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer skills and experience with EHR or optical POS systems
