IDEX Materials Science Solutions in West Henrietta, NY seeks a Manufacturing Engineer for machining to support production value streams. You will design fixtures, develop tooling and maintain documentation to improve yield and reliability.

The role requires a BS in engineering, SolidWorks proficiency, and experience with GD&T, DOE, and NPD stage gates. Expect collaboration across teams in a fast-paced environment with strong emphasis on safety.

Qualifications

• BS in mechanical/manufacturing/optomechanical engineering or equivalent.
• Experience reading engineering drawings and GD&T per ISO.
• Experience leading root-cause investigations and CAPAs.

Responsabilités

• Provide technical support to production teams and coordinate with engineering.
• Design fixtures, tools, prototypes, and production aids in SolidWorks.
• Maintain design records, routings, BOMs and work instructions.
• Train operators and technicians.
• Lead or participate in new product design and production approvals.
• collaborate with QA for root-cause investigations and corrective actions.
• Identify and drive process improvements and safe-work practices.
• Support continuous improvement in machining operations.
