Job summary

Stanton Optical is seeking a Lab Technician to support our fast-paced optical lab. You will prepare customized eyewear, perform repairs, and maintain equipment to ensure timely delivery for Now Service, 24-Hour, and Special Order jobs.

The role requires at least 1 year of lab experience, strong attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a collaborative team. MS Word/Google Docs skills are helpful, and prior optical experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience working with established laboratory procedures/equipment operation.
• Ability to deliver results and take ownership in a team environment.
• Meticulous organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Obtain job orders from sales team and clarify requests for accuracy.
• Maintain workflow to meet delivery times for Now Service, 24-Hour, and Special Order jobs.
• Notify supervisor of equipment malfunctions or order issues.
• Provide maintenance/calibration to lab equipment.
• Maintain brand standards through housekeeping when needed.
• Complete cross-training with retail and customer service.
• Other duties as assigned.
