Job summary

Now Optics through Stanton Optical is seeking a Lab Technician to prepare customized eyewear, repair lenses, and perform routine equipment maintenance to meet delivery commitments for Now Service and Special Orders. You will work in a fast-paced, collaborative lab environment with a focus on accuracy and quality.

Applicants should have at least 1 year of laboratory procedures/equipment experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multitask.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience with established laboratory procedures/equipment.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must have meticulous organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a team.

Responsibilities

• Obtain job orders from sales team and clarify all requests to ensure accuracy.
• Maintain a steady workflow to meet delivery times for Now Service, Ready When Promised, and Special Order jobs.
• Notify the leader on duty of equipment malfunctions, incomplete orders, or incorrect lenses.
• Provide maintenance and calibration to lab equipment.
• Ensure brand standards by performing basic housekeeping duties as needed.
• Complete cross-training with retail and customer service.
• Other duties as assigned and required
