Job summary

ABB Optical Group is hiring a Lab Technician/Warehouse Associate to process products in the lab and support warehouse operations. The role involves measuring frames, pulling lenses, packaging finished work, and scanning for shipment in a climate-controlled facility.

The position runs Monday through Friday, 10:30am–7:00pm. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent; some optical manufacturing experience is preferred. Benefits are available for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required for full-time employment.
• Entry-level: No specific prior work experience required; training provided to enable essential functions.
• Six months of optical manufacturing experience is preferred to determine ability to perform all functions.

Responsibilities

• Measure frames with a tracing machine and align lenses per job tickets.
• Invoice and package finished jobs for shipment and scan into the system.
• Sort and receive frames, placing them in color-coded trays for processing.
• Operate finishing equipment and hold tools to mount and align lenses with precision.
• Tint, mark, and inspect lenses; ensure correct tint axis and color per specs.
• Assist in meeting production targets and follow SOPs; maintain a clean, safe work area.
