Job summary

ABB Optical Group is hiring a Lab Technician/Warehouse Associate for a Monday–Friday 5:00am–1:30pm shift in the United States. The role focuses on processing products in the lab, handling frames, lenses, and coatings with emphasis on accuracy, efficiency, and safety in a climate-controlled facility.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and training provided for entry-level candidates; experience in optical manufacturing is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required for full-time employment.
• Entry-level position with training provided to perform minimum essential functions.

Responsibilities

• Use tracing machine to measure frame, print and match paperwork to trays, read job ticket to locate lens and pull from bin.
• Invoice and package finished jobs; scan and bin into proper customer box for shipping.
• Sort and receive frames into system; place frames in colored trays.
• Secure lenses/blanks in holding tools; operate equipment and clear machine errors; maintain tools.
• Mount, secure and align finished lens in frames; edge lens to fit frames.
• Tint lenses to specified color; change tint colors as needed.
• Unload lenses, mark and inspect lenses; perform AR coating and final inspection.
• Adhere to SOPs; meet production thresholds; participate in team meetings.
