Job summary

ABB Optical Group is seeking a Lab Technician/Warehouse Associate for a Monday–Friday night shift from 8:30 pm to 5:00 am. The role focuses on accurate processing, tracing frames, labeling, boxing finished jobs, and ensuring proper packaging for shipment.

Responsibilities include operating finishing equipment, mounting and tinting lenses, inspecting products, and maintaining a clean, safe work area in a climate-controlled lab environment. OT may be required as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent required for full-time employment.
• Entry-level: No prior work experience required; training provided.
• Minimum six (6) months of optical manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to follow procedure and contribute as an individual and a team member.

Responsibilities

• Use tracing machine to measure frame and match paperwork to trays.
• Invoice and package finished jobs; scan and bin for shipping.
• Sort and receive frames into system; place frames in colored trays.
• Operate finishing equipment and mount lenses in frames with precision tools.
• Follow OSHA safety guidelines and perform overtime as needed.
