• Reading RX ticket and learning the work tray layout.
• Using proper techniques to mount jobs and knowing the shadow jobs.
• Knowing lens materials and verifying lens shapes and bevels.
• Identifying lens types and lens issues.
• Verifying segment height and alignment for bifocals.
• Auditing frames and cleaning lenses properly.
• Understanding breakage codes.
• Scanning jobs and performing full mounter checklist.

Responsibilities

• Reading RX ticket and learning the work tray layout.
• Using proper techniques to mount jobs and knowing the shadow jobs.
• Knowing the lens materials and verifying lens shapes and bevels.
• Identifying lens types and lens issues.
• Knowing the 4‑point alignment and verifying segment height and that the bifocals are properly aligned.
• Auditing frames and performing the proper cleaning technique of lenses and proper use of tools.
• Knowing breakage codes and when to use them.
• Scanning jobs properly and performing full mounter checklist.
