Eyes on Brickell Optical Boutique in Miami seeks a passionate Optical Lab and Sales Associate to craft precise eyewear in the lab and deliver an exceptional on-floor shopping experience. You will align lens prescriptions with stylish frames for clients seeking luxury eyewear.

The role blends hands-on lab duties with consultative sales, requiring attention to detail, product knowledge, and a friendly, professional demeanor in a fast-paced boutique environment.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in an optical lab or retail optical environment preferred.
• Familiarity with lens edging, surfacing, and optical lab equipment.
• ABO certification is a plus.
• Strong sales skills with a customer-first, consultative approach.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to read and interpret optical prescriptions.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred for our Miami clientele.
• Positive, professional demeanor with a passion for fashion and eyewear.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, cut, and edge lenses using optical lab equipment to fulfill prescription eyewear orders.
• Assemble all types of frames (Metal, Zyl, Rimless, Drill mount, etc.).
• Inspect finished eyewear for quality and prescription accuracy.
• Assist customers in selecting frames and lenses fitting lifestyle and style.
• Perform frame adjustments, repairs, and fittings for comfort and fit.
• Process and track eyewear orders, in-house and with outside labs.
• Maintain lab equipment, inventory, and a clean workspace.
• Educate customers on lens options, coatings, and brands to drive informed purchases.
