The candidate will stay current on advancing optical technologies while ensuring compliance with security and citizenship requirements.

Qualifications

• BS in EE, ME, Physics (experimental), Optical Engineering or Optics.
• U.S. citizenship and Active Secret clearance required.
• Must be able to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement test procedures for optical systems and subsystems.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to integrate optical systems into larger projects.
• Conduct hands-on in-lab work including alignment and calibration of optical systems.
• Prepare technical documentation and reports for internal and external sponsor use.
• Stay current on advancing optical technologies.
