Job summary

HRB in Washington, DC seeks an experienced optics engineer to develop and implement test procedures for optical systems and subsystems. You will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to integrate optical components into larger projects and perform hands-on alignment and calibration in lab settings.

The role requires a BS in EE/ME/Physics (experimental) or Optical Engineering/Optics, active security clearance, and the ability to prepare technical reports for sponsors.

Qualifications

  • Experience with optical test procedures and alignment.
  • Strong documentation and reporting skills.

Salary: The projected salary range for this position is $150,000-$120,000; however, this is not a guarantee of salary. Salary will be set based on education, experience and contractual requirements.
