Job summary

EssilorLuxottica's Walman Optical division in Duluth, MN is hiring an Associate Technician for 1st shift (Mon–Fri, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.). You set up, operate, and perform basic maintenance on lab equipment for surface or finish work, supporting production goals and quality standards.

Responsibilities include interpreting Rx work tickets, performing calibration, and assisting with training of less experienced staff while maintaining safe, clean work areas and complying with all company policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to multi-task and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills required.
• Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and perform basic maintenance on equipment for surface or finish lab work.
• Interpret Rx work tickets and perform production operations per procedures.
• Calibrate equipment daily/weekly as directed and maintain clean, organized work areas.
• Troubleshoot equipment and communicate issues to supervisor.
• Provide training and guidance to less experienced staff.
