Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Optical Engineering or Physics with relevant experience.
• Experience with lasers, preferably laser diodes.
• Experience with automated alignment processes for optical components.

Responsibilities

• Complete qualification and stand watch in operation in the Omega laser system.
• Perform engineering analysis to support laser development and system performance.
• Collect, process, and interpret technical data to identify trends and improvements.
• Conduct laboratory and field testing using oscilloscopes and diagnostic tools.
• Support validation and verification activities with test planning and documentation.
• Develop and maintain SOPs and test plans for technicians and operators.
• Collaborate with scientists, engineers and technicians across teams.
• Support laser upgrade projects and software development.
• Handle minor responsibilities under project manager guidance.
