Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or similar field.
• 2 years of R&D experience required.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop system controls and interfaces for scientific equipment used in laser-material interaction experiments.
• Design, build, and troubleshoot experimental systems including lasers, vacuum systems, imaging and interferometric diagnostics.
• Support operation of existing and new equipment for laser physics experiments.
• Work in an environment with laser operation at single shot and 10 Hz rates.
