A District Manager oversees operations for multiple optical offices within a district, ensuring top patient service and profitability across locations with regular travel. The role emphasizes operating excellence, staff coaching, financial analysis, and ongoing reporting to regional leadership, with duties including

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associates or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Healthcare Management preferred.
• Previous optical management experience preferred.
• Industry related experience beneficial.
• Favorable result on background check as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Direct and drive the overall sales and profitability of more than one office location through the effective execution of Total Patient Experience (TPE).
• Oversee day-to-day operations of optical offices in the designated district; provide coaching and hands-on support to ensure effective operation and patient experience.
• Analyze office financial data and recommend steps to improve profitability on the retail side.
• Conduct site visits to ensure offices are functioning and meeting standards; provide hands-on feedback and action.
• Provide regular reporting to the Regional Director, Regional VP, HR, Marketing, and Finance.
• Regular travel with some overnight travel is required.
• Performs other duties as necessary or in the best interest of the organization.

Education

Associates or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Healthcare Management preferred
