Job summary

Qualifications

• Option 1: Completion of 2 or more years of college.
• Option 2: 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience.
• Option 3: 2 years’ general work experience, including 1 year’s optical experience.
• Active ABO certification through American Board of Opticianry, including continuing education requirements to maintain certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead merchandising, pricing accuracy, and inventory oversight to drive department sales.
• Forecast trends and align assortments with member needs and local patterns.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance, accurate documentation, and safety protocols in optical operations.
• Coordinate with labs, suppliers, and optometrists to resolve issues and manage workflows.
