Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent upon job entry or within 12 months of hire.
• Must obtain ABO certification within 15 months of hire.
• Licensure requirements for optician apprenticeships as applicable by state law.

Responsibilities

• Stock and organize Optical area merchandise and displays.
• Process member purchases and handle payments, returns, and exchanges via POS.
• Educate members on eyewear usage and assist with contact lens care.
• Measure pupillary distance and lens positions using manual and digital tools.
• Perform frame adjustments, repairs, and final eyewear inspections.
• Coordinate with labs and optometrists for product updates and status.
