Job summary

Cohen-Esrey is seeking an Operations Support Manager for Iowa and Nebraska to support regional operations through data analysis, audit oversight, process coordination, and team communication. The role requires live in Iowa or Nebraska and works to ensure regulatory compliance across Tax Credit and HUD/Project-Based Section 8 programs.

Qualifications

• 4 years of experience in affordable multi-family property management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to multitask, manage priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Onesite, and EIV.

Responsibilities

• Building a team of highly-capable and motivated Property Managers and creating a positive environment in which to work and provide great service.
• Assist Regional Vice-President (RVP) with special projects.
• Ensuring customer satisfaction through the property team and resolving resident concerns, when necessary.
• Owner Liaison – Enhancing relationships with partners, agencies and other entities and maximizing financial performance.
• Adhering to all guidelines within all applicable government programs.
• Performing quarterly file audits and ensuring discrepancies are corrected.
• Assist Property Managers with marketing and retention ideas, ensuring accuracy and effectiveness of marketing materials.
• Monitor, coordinate and prepare all financial data.
