Job summary

Chenega MIOS is seeking an Operations Support / Systems Engineer (Junior to Mid-Level) to support SAP/CAP IT footprint. You will perform daily systems engineering across UNIX and Windows, monitor performance, assist incident triage, and help with RCA/AAR creation.

A background in DoD/IC environments, a TS/SCI clearance, and Security+ certification are required, with growth opportunities across hybrid enterprise IT environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent with 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Associate’s Degree with 4+ years of relevant experience, or 6+ years total experience.
• DoD 8140/IAT Level I certification is required.
• Security+ CE certification within 6 months is needed.
• TS/SCI clearance is required and a background/drug screening will be completed.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily systems engineering and operational support for enterprise IT infrastructure, hardware/software assets, and monitoring capabilities across UNIX and Windows environments.
• Execute continuous fault and performance monitoring using EM tools to ensure high availability during training exercises and live missions.
• Assist in integration and optimization of monitoring tools, incident ticketing workflows, and alerting pipelines.
• Support rapid incident triage, log outages and Discrepancy Reports, and draft RCAs and AARs.
• Analyze system workflows and networks to identify gaps and assist in developing architectural and data-flow diagrams.
• Contribute to data aggregation, analysis, and visualization for improved system visibility and stakeholder metrics.

Education

Bachelor's Degree and 2+ years relevant experience OR

Associate’s Degree and 4+ years relevant experience OR

6+ years relevant experience

DoD 8140 (formerly 8570.01-M), IAT Level I

Security+ CE (within 6 months)
