Job summary

Chenega MIOS seeks a skilled Systems Administrator in San Antonio, TX to lead enterprise Windows and Linux server administration, virtualization, and security hardening. You will manage RHEL/Ubuntu and Windows servers, perform patching, and contribute to mission-critical operations in a DoD-focused environment.

The role requires 5+ years of experience, an Associate degree in a technical field, and DoD IAT II certification with SCI eligibility.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems.
• DOD IAT Level II Certification is required.
• DOD Top Secret clearance w/ SCI eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead the administration, maintenance, and optimization of enterprise Windows and Linux server environments.
• Install, configure, harden, maintain, and troubleshoot RHEL, Ubuntu, and Windows Server operating systems.
• Deploy, administer, and maintain virtualized server environments using VMware.
