The University of North Florida is seeking an Academic Support Specialist to provide administrative support to students, faculty and staff, addressing individual needs and referring to campus resources. You will collaborate with support units to ensure timely assistance and contribute to a high-energy Student Success team.
Responsibilities include frontline customer service, managing front office processes, and assisting with New Student Orientations and End of Term tasks.
General Description/Primary Purpose The primary purpose of the Academic Support Specialist will be to provide administrative support to students, faculty and staff to address individual needs including challenges. This individual will help to support students through referral to appropriate campus resources and through collaboration with other support units to ensure timely and effective assistance.

This position requires a background check. In conjunction with the University's policy, this position may also require a credit check. The holder of this position is designated as a "Responsible Employee" pursuant to their role under Title IX. Therefore, the incumbent must promptly report allegations of sexual misconduct, sexual violence, and child sexual abuse by or against any student, employee, contractor, or visitor to the University's Title IX Administrator or any divisional Title IX Coordinator.
