Job summary

RTX is seeking an Operations Product Manager to lead performance for complex products across the Mission Systems value stream. This onsite role coordinates Program Management, Factory Leadership, Supply Chain, Engineering and Quality to deliver high‑quality hardware on cost and on schedule.

Location options include Rockford, IL; Phoenix, AZ; or Coralville, IA. You will serve as the primary operations focal point, driving disciplined execution, risk management, and budgetary planning across

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience.
• U.S. citizenship is required to access information under this program/contract.
• 3+ years prior experience in operations or manufacturing.
• 3+ years experience in program or project management.
• Experience with SAP or other MRP systems.
• Ability to communicate and present to all levels of the organization including executives and external customers.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end‑to‑end execution to enable cost, schedule, and quality performance.
• Lead cross‑functional teams to identify risks, perform root‑cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Influence decisions across Program Management, Factory Operations, Engineering, Production Control, Quality, and Supply Chain.
• Ensure factory readiness and seamless execution of production plans and resource capacity.
• Lead the team to resolve manufacturing issues to maintain cost and schedule.
• Manage budgets, EAC, variance analysis, and forecasting for assigned cost accounts.
• Support gate reviews, milestone readiness, and IMS content integration.
• Monitor OTD performance and drive recovery actions.
