- Responsible for performing a wide variety of standard administrative and office support duties.
- Prepares a variety of materials, including meeting notes, routine correspondence, basic reports, and forms.
- Maintains filing systems, basic departmental databases, calendars, and conference room schedules.
- May order and receive supplies and perform office inventory functions.
- Responsible for receiving incoming calls for assistance and recording detailed information from customers.
- Greeting visitors and providing assistance or direction.
- Assists with organizing the sourcing of vendors and items for the Business Development department.
- Assists with the fulfillment of items for the Business Development department.
- Assists with data processing and the installation of bricks for the Westcott Brick Program.
- Represents and strengthens marketing efforts at event programming and tabling, including but not limited to homecoming, commencement, tailgates, reunions, kickoff events, and networking events, as assigned.
- Contributes to stewardship efforts by sending hand-written and email thank-you letters to constituents.
- Assists in brainstorming business development campaigns.

Qualifications- High School/Equivalent
- Must have a Valid Driver's License
- Previous customer service experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office – ability to use and navigate Microsoft Word and Excel
- Effective communication – the ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Ability to learn the FSU database system and navigate it efficiently
- Effective communication, active listening and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail
- Must be comfortable with emailing external stakeholders, taking phone calls with a customer service-based mindset, and in-person engagement opportunities
