Job summary

The City of Philadelphia is seeking an experienced Operations Coordinator and IT Coordinator to lead IT and facilities operations. You will manage risk, safety, IT, and fleet workflows and ensure compliance with City rules and funder requirements.

You will supervise the Operations and IT Coordinators, oversee inventory, telecommunications, and safety reporting, and partner with the Office of Information Technology to keep services running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business management, IT, CS, IS, or related field.
• 5+ years in IT or operations with supervisory experience.
• Strong understanding of computer systems, security, network and telecommunications.

Responsibilities

• Manage risk, safety, IT and fleet workflows per Deputy Executive Director.
• Ensure office operations align with City rules and funder requirements.
• Oversee fleet maintenance and staff vehicle use.
• Maintain timely inventory tracking for asset management and procurement.
• Lead Safety Committee and Safety Reporting in line with regulations.
• Foster teamwork and a support-first mindset across units.
• Manage office telephony and mobile device support per OIT policies.
• Troubleshoot operations or unit issues as they arise.
• Liaise regularly with OIT.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
