Job summary

Shield invites a Forward Deployed Operations leader to embed across Shield Co portfolio companies, owning P&L, driving revenue growth, margin expansion, and operational improvements. You will partner with corporate finance and local leadership to manage forecasts, budgets, and key drivers, while pursuing growth opportunities such as sales enablement and service expansion.

Qualifications

• Ran P&Ls and managed multi-site teams.
• Thrives in ambiguity with proactive action.
• Fluent in P&L levers: margin, retention, utilization, pricing.
• Proven revenue or operational improvement track record.
• Holds people accountable while keeping relationships intact.
• Clear communicator to ShieldCo GMs and CFOs.

Responsibilities

• Own P&L for Shield Companies; drive revenue growth and EBITDA.
• Partner with corporate finance on budgets, forecasts and performance.
• Analyze drivers: recurring revenue, retention, utilization, pipeline health.
• Identify and execute growth levers: sales enablement, new service lines, cross-sell.
• Standardize processes; support AI platform adoption and operational improvements.
• Lead onboarding of new ShieldCo units; coordinate cross-functional teams.
