Qualifications

  • Skill in using compound, inverted, and dissecting microscopes for analytical purposes.
  • Knowledge of aquatic biology, ecology, and environmental sciences concepts and techniques.
  • Ability to sit and use a microscope daily and complete repetitive tasks accurately.
  • Ability to understand and follow technical instructions, SOPs, and quality assurance procedures.
  • Knowledge of algae identification terminology and analytical techniques (preferred).
