The role emphasizes developing analytical models, forecasting performance, and evaluating strategies to optimize operations, with a preference for Navy-based experience and a Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of operations research experience.
• Experience with Navy-based operations is preferred.
• A minimum Secret security clearance or higher is required to be considered for this position.

Responsibilities

• The Operations Analyst II provides operational analysis supporting a U.S. Navy customer, applying analytical methods to improve planning and performance.
• Apply operations research techniques to improve coordination and management of organizational resources.
• Analyze issues related to strategy, planning, forecasting, scheduling, supply chain management, and performance measurement.
• Gather operational data and select appropriate analytical techniques such as simulation, linear programming, dynamic programming, or stochastic modeling.
• Develop mathematical models to describe systems and evaluate alternative scenarios.
• Provide recommendations based on analytical findings to support government decision‑making
