BayMark Health Services, Inc. is seeking a temporary/full-time Registered Counselor in California to support patients enrolled in Medication Assisted Treatment for opioid use disorder.

The counselor will use evidence-based and trauma-informed approaches to help patients develop coping skills and improve quality of life. You will work with physicians, nurses and a multidisciplinary team to evaluate progress, establish individualized care plans, and coordinate services during this 12-week

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Counselor in California.
• Experience with chemically dependent individuals is a plus.
• Positive, non-judgmental attitude toward patients.
• Satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check.

Responsabilités

• Provide individual and group counseling at scheduled intervals; coordinate services throughout treatment.
• Conduct initial assessment to determine eligibility for services.
• Complete Bio-psychosocial assessment.
• Establish individualized treatment plan and review as clinically indicated.
• Respond to patient grievances and complaints.
• Develop aftercare and discharge plans.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

TEMPORARY/FULL TIME (12 WEEKS) REGISTERED COUNSELOR OPPORTUNITY- CA

Counselor will be responsible for offering support and assistance to patients enrolled in Medication Assisted Treatment for opioid use disorder. Utilizing evidence-based practices and a trauma-informed approach, the counselor will help patients develop individualized coping techniques and symptom management skills that enable then to experience improved quality of life. Through collaboration with doctors, nurses and a multidisciplinary team, the counselor will play a vital role in evaluating patient progress and developing an individualized plan of care.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counseling services; direct service at regularly scheduled intervals based on patient need, best practices and state regulations; coordinate all services throughout treatment.
• Conducts initial assessment and evaluation to determine eligibility for services.
• Complete Bio-psychosocial assessment.
• Establish individualized treatment plan with each patient and review as clinically indicated.
• Respond, as needed, to patient grievances and complaints.
• Develop aftercare and discharge plans.
• Other related duties as determined by supervisor.

Qualifications

• Registered Counselor in the State of California.
• Previous experience working with chemically dependent individuals a plus.
• Must demonstrate a positive, non-judgmental, and accepting attitude toward our patient population.
• Satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check.

Salary Range

Salary ranges from $24.06 to $25.06 an hour.

The salary of the candidate(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, experience, education, specialty and training.
