Veterinary Eye Center in Newtown Square seeks an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join a state-of-the-art ophthalmology team. You will provide compassionate care, support surgeons and techs, and help ensure a seamless client and patient experience in a learning-focused hospital.

You bring 1–2+ years of veterinary assistant work, an interest in ophthalmology, and experience with ezyVet or similar PM systems. Expect a 4-day work week, PTO, 401(k) with company match, and generous benefits.

Qualifikationen

• 1–2+ years of Veterinary Assistant experience in GP/ER/specialty.
• Interest in Veterinary Ophthalmology and eye care.
• Experience with practice management software; ezyVet preferred.
• Must be adaptable with clients and coworkers.
• Strong ethical judgment and professionalism.

Aufgaben

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to patients and assist ophthalmic consults and surgeries.
• Support doctors and technicians to ensure smooth client and patient flow.
• Handle patient restraint for exams and sample collection for testing.
• Submit patient samples to in-house or external labs.
• Maintain clean, organized exam rooms and treatment areas.
