Qualifications

• At least 1 year of hands-on experience as a veterinary assistant or in animal handling settings such as grooming/daycare.
• Confidence in Fear Free handling and restraint techniques with dogs and cats.
• Strong written and verbal communication with clients and colleagues.
• Able to adapt with a positive attitude and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, responsibly and ethically.

Responsibilities

• Assist Doctors and Technicians in providing a seamless client and patient appointment experience.
• Handle and restrain patients for exams and sample collection.
• Submit patient samples to in-house and external laboratories.
• Thorough cleaning, organization, and stocking of exam rooms and treatment areas.
