Job summary

Eye Care for Animals St Charles is seeking a Certified Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant-Practice Lead. The Practice Leader role is 70% veterinary technician/assistant work and 30% leadership, focusing on integrating operations, budgeting, and staff development to enhance client care and staff engagement.

The role requires CVT/LVT/RVT licensure, 5+ years of experience, and the ability to lead, analyze data, and improve processes.

Qualifications

• CVT/LVT/RVT licensure required.
• 5+ years veterinary technician experience preferred.
• Proficient in IV catheters placement, blood work, and IV, IM, and SQ injections.
• Proficient in monitoring anesthesia and working with various monitoring equipment.

Responsibilities

• Oversees hiring and training hospital staff.
• Manages budgets with Eye Care for Animals Leadership team.
• Monitors KPIs; maintains inventory and inventory control system.
• Implements safety and security procedures and leads staff development.
