Job summary

Painpoint-Health is seeking a Surgical Technologist (Scrub Tech) to support pain management and ophthalmology procedures at Langhorne Surgery Center. This role prepares the operating room, maintains a sterile environment, and assists the surgical team through procedures.

The position offers a full-time, weekday schedule with $35/hour, no weekends, and a collaborative team focused on patient safety and quality outcomes. Join a busy outpatient center committed to excellence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• At least 1 year of healthcare experience required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and organize instruments, equipment, and sterile supplies for procedures.
• Maintain the sterile field and follow infection prevention protocols.
• Pass instruments to surgeons and assist the surgical team as needed.
• Prepare and position patients for surgery.
• Perform instrument and sponge counts before and after procedures.
• Clean, sterilize, and restock equipment and operating rooms between cases.
• Monitor surgical equipment and ensure supplies are available.
• Maintain accurate procedure documentation and communicate patient information to the nursing team.
• Follow facility policies, safety standards, and training guidelines.
